Development Economics I, 3 credit hours — This course covers important topics in development economics research and policy such as UN sustainable development goals, human resource investments, poverty and inequality, armed conflict and its impact on well-being and household decision-making. The course introduces students to latest theoretical developments as well as to empirical methods used in the field.
